The First Ever SLC Comic-Con

Nerdery invaded Salt Lake last weekend for the first ever Comic-Con in our fair city. Officials estimated that between 70,000 and 80,000 people attended making it the largest first Comic-Con in the nation. Fire marshals stopped letting people in to the Salt Palace venue which was at capacity for the Saturday events, and people were packed in standing nearly shoulder to shoulder with their fellow comrades in geek. In short, it was madness. But enthusiastic comic and pop culture nerds left the con more than satisfied and we are all already looking forward to SLC Comic-Con 2014. Take a peek at some of the excellent cosplay I ran across while attending the slightly less crazy second day of the convention below.
